history + philosophy
Raimund McClain and Kristina Yu, having practiced architecture for other nationally and internationally known organizations, helping to execute large infrastructural projects, McClain + Yu formed in 2012 as a firm carrying architectural specialization in educational and institutional projects.
We have expertise in taking complex building program and operations requirements and working in a team environment with stakeholders to find unique, creative, efficient solutions in the most-timely manner. We are aware of the balance required of managing the flow of personnel and required spaces for a fully operational facility. We optimize material use, performance of systems for the benefit of cost effectiveness and overall elegant architecture.
Our team has extensive experience in providing professional services which maximize client & owner value. McClain + Yu Architecture & Design focuses on owner oriented, carefully considered design. Our core values bring high-level design thinking coupled with professionalism and technical ability to each project. We are a full service architectural firm providing the depth and specialty of programming/planning, A/E design and construction administration services. We provide Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Project Management to Building Information Modeling (BIM) coordination and services.
